Product Advantage

  • Limited only by the centrifugal force of the rotor—rather than the commutator—rotational speeds can easily exceed tens of thousands of revolutions per minute; motors for dental equipment can reach 40,000–100,000 rpm.

  • They can deliver 100% of their rated torque immediately upon startup and maintain torque even under locked-rotor conditions, with current and torque exhibiting a strictly linear relationship.

  • The 60–80 dB screeching noise caused by friction between the brushes and the commutator has been eliminated; the primary source of noise in the entire unit is now the bearings.

FAQ

1. Q: Can the forward and reverse rotation of a brushless DC motor be freely adjusted?

A: Yes, there are two ways to adjust this: by swapping any two of the three main phase wires, or by sending a forward/reverse signal to the driver's control terminals. No modifications to the motor's physical structure are required.

2. Q: What causes abnormal vibration in a brushless motor during operation?

A: The main causes include poor dynamic balance of the rotor magnetic ring, loose bearing fit, uneven air gap in the stator windings, loose mounting, or misaligned commutation timing in the driver, resulting in significant torque ripple.

3. Q: Is there a risk that the back-EMF from a brushless motor could damage the driver after power is cut off?

A: When the rotor continues to rotate after power is cut off, it generates back-EMF. The driver's built-in absorption circuit module suppresses voltage spikes, effectively protecting the internal electronic components from breakdown and damage.
